Gilad has been leading social ventures for nearly 15 years, while also serving as an advisor, associate professor, and board member. Presently he leads the Nature Tech Collective (NTC) as its Executive Director. NTC is a nonprofit membership organization, sector intelligence unit and venture studio accelerating towards effective coexistence between humanity and the rest of nature. We are short an annual $700B in funding to reverse nature loss and biodiversity extinction. Nature tech is the key to closing the data and trust gaps preventing meaningful private sector investments into nature.

We believe this can only happen if we solve for the nature finance gap. NTC exist as a capacity builder boosting its 130+ members, and is engaged in meaningful transition work in regenerative agriculture, biodiversity and conservation, green supply chains, and more.

Prior to his work with the Nature Tech Collective, Gilad cofounded and led partnerships for the impact blockchain Bitgreen. He earned his EMSc in Social Business from the London School of Economics, and an MA in comparative History from Brandeis University. He also Speaks, writes and teaches on the subject of social entrepreneurship.

Gilad lives in Portugal with his wife and two young boys.
