Eva Lafont is an agro-economist engineer (AgroParisTech) specialised in environmental and biodiversity management, and holds a Master's degree in Environmental Economics and Sustainable Development (Master EEET, Université Paris Saclay). Eva quickly turned to the development of sustainable and innovative financing solutions (PES, carbon, ...) in order to support Nature-based Adaptation Solutions. Indeed, Eva has worked as Climate & Forest Finance Consultant for Rio Impact since 2019, notably on the design of a national climate fund for Morocco, the development of the national forest finance strategy for Algeria, and on the design of training for the development of fundraising for Mediterranean Marine Protected Areas and the PES mechanism (Payment for Ecosystem Services). She is currently Project Manager at AETS Afrique (sustainable financing, carbon, NbS projects...).
