Elvy Barton is a Forest Health Management Principal at Salt River Project (SRP). Elvy leads SRP’s forest health initiatives and partnerships. Before joining SRP, Elvy worked as a Senior Policy Advisor at the Arizona House of Representatives covering natural resource, water, and environmental policy issues. In addition to working at SRP, Elvy is an adjunct faculty professor in the Public Administration Department at Northern Arizona University and an Academic Associate in the School of Sustainability at Arizona State University. She holds a master’s degree in Public Administration and an executive master’s degree in Sustainability Leadership from Arizona State University. In her spare time, Elvy develops environmental policy platforms for political campaigns and sustainability planning strategies for non-profits.
