Tamata Hauha

Tamata Hauha

Tāmata Hauhā is a New Zealand owned and operated company, established to help restore the land, its people and their prosperity – he whenua, he tāngata, he taurikura.

Through our forestry programme we plant a diverse range of exotic and native trees, striking a careful balance between economic and environmental outcomes. We front the initial cost of tree planting and forest management. As these forests generate carbon credits through the New Zealand Emissions Trading Scheme, we sell the credits and share the returns with our landowner partners.
