Wendelin von Gravenreuth is responsible for investing and managing the large scale global forest portfolio of Munich Re Group. Further, he is dealing with all ESG & sustainability and carbon related issues linked to the asset class forestry. He joined MEAG in 2014 and holds a MSc. in Forest Science from the Technical University of Munich. Prior to that, he worked for the Confederation of European Forest Owners (CEPF) in Brussels, Belgium, as well as the European Forest Institute (EFI) in Joensuu, Finland. MEAG is the asset manager of Munich Re and ERGO and has currently around € 330 billion assets under management.
