Carrie Heng is Associate Director of Investments at New Forests since 2017. Carrie is based in Singapore where she is responsible for fund investments covering Southeast Asia. Her main responsibilities include deal origination, transaction structuring, due diligence and operational support for New Forests’ investments. Carrie has been instrumental in structuring and developing carbon projects in the region including the Kuan Kreng Landscape project in Thailand (the first investment under New Forests Tropical Asia Forest Fund 2). Prior to joining New Forests, Carrie spent more than 7 years in the infrastructure advisory practice at KPMG. She holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Monash University, Australia.
