Andrew Howard is Chief Strategy and Policy Officer at Verra, the world’s most widely used carbon market standard in the voluntary carbon market and increasingly used in compliance and Article 6 markets. Andrew leads Verra’s engagement with governments and policy development and works to ensure Verra’s programs are attuned to market and regulatory needs. His engagement with Verra continues over 20 years of developing climate policy and carbon markets with the United Nations Climate Change Secretariat, national governments and business groups.
