Tripurari brings over 17 years of expertise in carbon markets, nature-based solutions, and the oil & gas sectors, with a proven track record of leading high-impact carbon investments globally. Currently, he leads the deal execution for Climate Asset Management, one of the world's largest Nature Based Carbon Fund. Before joining Climate Asset Management, he served as Global Director of Carbon Solutions at HSBC, where he developed the group’s carbon procurement and trading strategy, focusing on nature-based solutions and technical removalsTripurari’s career includes leadership roles at Southpole and Shell, where he managed multi-million-dollar investments in emerging markets, facilitated acquisitions, and structured innovative financing models to catalyse funding for carbon projects. Notably, he spearheaded groundbreaking initiatives, including pioneering blue carbon projects and facilitating the world’s first Article 6.2 (ITMO) transaction between Switzerland and Thailand for Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). He was recently recognised as an Investment Leader of the Year in the Sustainable Investment Awards 2025. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Tripurari is on the advisory board of Social Carbon and serves as an Expert Advisor to Verra, contributing to the development of global standards in carbon markets
