Joshua Tosteson has spent over 30 years in the field of sustainability. Prior to Everland, Josh was the Senior Vice President for Programs at Rainforest Alliance where he was responsible for worldwide field operations in sustainable agriculture, forestry, and climate finance. Before that, Joshua co-founded and served as President and Director of HydroGen, a publicly-traded hydrogen fuel cell manufacturing company that was listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange.

Joshua has also held leadership and senior advisory roles in numerous for-profit and non-profit enterprises focused on harnessing financial markets to solve systemic environmental and social issues, and has done field-level service work in education, economic development, permaculture and contemplative practices in Haiti, Louisiana, and other places. He holds a BA in environmental science from Harvard, and an MS in atmospheric sciences from Columbia University.
